Hi, I'm Miela!
As a Human Factors Engineer, I am passionate about creating thoughtful, human centered systems.
I am driven by a deep curiosity about how people think, behave, and interact with the world around them. I have a Master of Science in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University with a concentration in medical devices & systems. My experience spans medical technology, assistive design, and educational products.
Originally from Los Angeles, and I love to hike, kayak, and paint. Also a second-degree black belt in tang soo do, NAUI advanced scuba diver, and certified in wilderness first aid! Currently reading Broken Code by Jeff Horwitz, learning to watercolor, and designing a STEM challenge generator for
K-12 students and teachers.
